Who we are
Invoice Generator Pro (invoice-generator.pro) is operated by TheHashCode. This policy explains what data the service handles and why. Questions go to info@thehashcode.com.
Using the invoice generator without an account
You can create invoices without signing in. The invoices you make and save are stored in your own browser (localStorage and IndexedDB). We don't receive them, and clearing your browser data deletes them.
When you click Download PDF, the invoice's contents (including any logo and signature) are sent to our PDF service to produce the file. We use them only to generate that PDF.
When you sign in with Google
Signing in is optional. When you do, we receive and store:
- your name, email address and profile photo, from your Google account
- what you create in the dashboard: organizations, customers, products, invoices and payments
- a record of the invoice emails you send (who they went to, when, and whether the send succeeded)
We use this only to run your account and the features you use. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.
Emailing invoices
When you email an invoice from the dashboard, it goes through our email provider to the addresses you enter. The recipients see your organization's details, and replies go to the reply-to address you set. You are responsible for having a reason to email the people you send invoices to.
Contact form
Messages sent through our contact page (your name, email and message) are stored so we can reply.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and only after you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner. The details and how to change your choice are in our Cookie Policy.
Service providers
We rely on a few providers to run the service: cloud hosting and storage, an email delivery service, Google (sign-in and analytics) and Google Fonts. They process data only on our behalf and for these purposes.
Keeping and deleting your data
Account data is kept while your account is active. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and its data by emailing info@thehashcode.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
